A powerful and heartbreaking portrait of a young girl in the child welfare system.
Benni is a nine-year-old tornado in a pink bubble jacket. She's a system breaker. A toss-up between various foster homes that fails to deal with her outbursts of rage and harsh exteriors. All Benni wants is to live with her mother again, but she is unable to cope with her daughter's erratic behavior. The child welfare service is about to give up, but when Micha is hired as an assistant, Benni begins to open up for the first time. Benni connects with him, and Micha tries to balance professionalism with personal commitment.
