In 1632, at the age of six, Kristina was crowned the first female regent in Sweden when her father, King Gustav II Adolf, died at the Battle of Lützen. She is raised as a prince and grows up with a desire to modernize Sweden and create peace. But she must fight against the conservative forces in court that do not tolerate her ideas, her thirst for knowledge or her sexual awakening.

The film is not playable outside of Norway
