Et svik mot oss alle

55 minutes 2009

In 1983, Arne Treholt was sentenced to 20 years in prison in the most talked about espionage case in post-war Norway, a sentence he has never been able to live with. In this film, we follow the process surrounding his last attempt to have the case reopened. We are on a significant journey from Cyprus, where Treholt lives today, to his home in Brandbu. This is also a look back at a dramatic legal process, a reminder of the severity of the Cold War, and a consideration of public opinion's reaction to the Treholt case.
