Bravehearts

118 minutes 2012 6.8

They wanted to change the world. Then came the summer that changed them.

Bravehearts follows four politically engaged young people from the summer of 2009 to the autumn of 2011. Four young people who want something, who dare to say what they think about the society we live in, who want to make the world a better place. Sana, Henrik, Haakon and Johanne are members of their respective political youth parties, and are preparing for the 2011 election campaign with intense debate training. On July 22, the film team follows Johanne on Utøya, and then travels back to Oslo to meet Sana in the city centre in the afternoon. Then came a bang.
