Lapskaus Boulevard

48 minutes 2005

The fresh produce store Nordic Deli in Brooklyn, NY, is run by the Bakke family. In the third generation, they produce and sell traditional Norwegian food over the counter. In the vernacular, the street is called `Lapskaus Boulevard', because in the 40s and 50s the area became known for its traditional Norwegian food culture, especially stew. The Bakke family is originally from Flekkefjord and all employees are descendants of Norwegians. After many years in a melting pot, they have learned a thing or two about living side by side with other cultures.

The film is not playable outside of Norway
