The Racer

95 minutes 2020 5.9

Experienced assistant rider Dom Chabol is experiencing the three most dramatic days of his life and potentially the end of his career during the Irish opening of the notorious Tour de France 1998, known as the "Tour Du Dopage".

Summer 1998 - The opening stages of Le Tour de France have moved to Ireland. Belgian Dom Chabol has been one of the tour's best auxiliary riders for the past 20 years. A role where you have to sacrifice a lot - set the pace, block wind and support the team's sprints to lead them to victory.

Dom has a secret desire to wear the yellow jersey only once before his career is over. At the start of what will probably be his last tour, Dom is easily dropped from the team to which he has dedicated his life. But as Dom is about to go home, he is called back after one of his teammates is taken into doping control, and Dom gets one last chance to fulfill his life's dream.
