Mike Regan (Brosnan) is a successful, independent businessman, who has it all; a beautiful wife, a sweet and good teenage daughter and a modern, high-tech home. One day it all turns around. Mike shuts the mind-boggling IT consultant, Ed, into his home to help with any technical issues. When Ed sees Mike's daughter, he immediately falls in love and uses his IT skills to pursue her. This puts both Mike and his family in danger - and Mike must seek help from the mysterious "fixer" Henrik (Nyqvist).
