Mads Lake is being treated in a mental institution, but he is given permission leave. He may sometimes leave his house without supervision. But when he returns from one of his trips revealing that he has committed murder, everything changes. In the beginning, no one believes him, but he is soon a suspect for serial murders. What Remains is a psychological thriller with Gustaf Skarsgård, Andrea Riseborough and Stellan Skarsgård in the lead roles.
