When Frank's (Rainn Wilson) wife leaves him in favor of the seductive and psychopathic drug dealer (Kevin Bacon), he turns into (super) hero "Crimson Bolt".

With a self-made suit, a red-painted pliers and the unscrupulous aide, Boltie (Ellen Page), Crimson Bolt sets out on a quest to fight all crime, hoping to save his wife (Liv Tyler). The rules are simple and laid down long ago: Do ??not offend children, sneak in the queue or scratch the car paint with your nails!
