Retired Benjamin Ford (Robert De Niro) has retired to a secluded cabin deep in the Appalachian Mountains. One day he receives an unannounced visit from Emil (John Travolta) and they quickly find the tone. But when the true intentions of the unexpected guest come to the surface, the former military veteran Benjamin must bring out old skills in what becomes a hoarse and intense battle in an inhospitable mountain landscape.
