Indochine

160 minutes 1992 7.0

Eliane (Catherine Deneuve) owns a plantation in an Indochina ridden by revolution, where she leads a lonely life. She only has affection for her 16-year-old adopted daughter Camille. They live quietly right until they fall in love with the same man.

Eliane is ready to give him up but Camille is not. She joins the man she loves in exile to the Tonkin-islands and finds her own land, far away from the colonies. A land that is about to be Vietnam.

The film is a French grand production, a magnificent and romantic fresko and a hint of "Gone with the Wind" and "The Last Emperor".

The film is not playable outside of Norway
