Aleksei secretly leaves Belarus to go to Paris and join the Foreign Legion. 500 miles further south, Jomo and his guerrilla group are fighting to protect the local population from the oil companies in the Niger Delta. When Aleksei is sent there to fight, the two meet and their lives are changed forever.
