Max and Sofia have finished kindergarten. Their first step into a more adult world join when they start school at the start of the film.

Director Janne Lindgren follows them through the first year, and with observing camera, patience and like a silent fly on the wall, she has captured unique and real situations where the small details are sometimes magical.
