On an idyllic farm in Vestfold, we follow the pig Gunda and her newborn piglets. We also get to know some cows and a chicken with one leg trying to fly. Gunda is a sensual, beautiful and touching documentary about the animals' everyday life.
The film is produced by Anita Rehoff Larsen in Sant & Usant, directed by the award-winning filmmaker Victor Kossakovsky, and photographed by Egil Håskjold Larsen. Joaquin Phoenix is ??an executive producer, and has stated, among other things, that the film is "fundamentally important and a fabulous work of art". With Gunda, they give us an exceptionally beautiful and timely reminder of how valuable life is to all living beings.
