Three women with different backgrounds meet as cohabitants in the heart of Tel Aviv. Salma works as a DJ in a bar and Laila works as a lawyer. Neither of them wants a deeply religious life, as the parents want. Instead, they try to find their identity in their own way in Tel Aviv. When Nur moves in - a younger, devout Muslim girl, things start to change. The girls find a deep community, which transcends the differences between them.
The film captures the contrast of the Arab environment in Israel - where deeply religious and old-fashioned expectations from the family are balanced against an extravagant party environment in Tel Aviv. And how young Israeli-Arab women navigate between the contrasts. When they are neither Israeli nor Palestinian enough to fit in anywhere.
