16-year-old Siyar lives in a small village in Kurdistan, and after his father's death, he is now the family's elder and head. When his 18-year-old sister Nermin escapes from her own wedding, Siyar is given the responsibility of finding her and restoring the family's good name and reputation. He goes in search of his sister on a dangerous journey of discovery through Europe and to Norway, and on the way he meets the young girl Evin who arouses new feelings in him.
