In this new film about Jane Eyre, “Sin Nombre” director Cary Fukunaga brings new life and topicality to Charlotte Brontë's timeless and classic story. 

After losing her parents, Jane Eyre is forced to live with distant and emotionally cold relatives. She is eventually thrown out and ends up at an orphanage. Years go by and when Jane is old enough to leave, she seeks a job as governess for the enigmatic Mr. Rochester at his Thornfield Hall estate. It does not take long for him to win her heart, and the love between them becomes mutual. But all is not as it seems at Thornfield Hall, and Jane learns that Mr. Rochester is hiding a dark secret. 

Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) and Michael Fassbender (Inglourious Basterds) play Jane and Rochester in this romantic drama from the UK, about a heroine who has inspired faithful viewers and readers through generations.
