Prison officer Jack Mabry (Robert De Niro) has only a few weeks left until he retires and wants to end the cases he is working on. One of the cases is Gerald "Stone" Creeson (Edward Norton), a criminal who will soon be released. Jack does not want to let him out. Stone has little hope of persuading Jack, so he asks his wife Lucetta (Milla Jovovich) to seduce Jack.
