We're in the steaming swamps of southern Florida in the 60's. Reporter Ward Jansen (Matthew McConaughey) is on the trail of a scoop. With the help of their younger brother Jack (Zac Efron) and the sex-crazy Charlotte Bless (Nicole Kidman), they try to prove that the death row inmate Hillary van Wetter (John Cusack) is innocently convicted of the murder of a corrupt local sheriff.

The Paperboy was nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes 2012.
