Russell Crowe stars in the role as Jake Davis, a Pulitzer-winning author, in the Italian-American dramafilm Fathers & Daughters. When Jake's wife dies in a car accident, he is suddenly left alone with his 5 year old daughter Katie. This brings him out of balance and he is ridden with guilt, and at the same time he is trying to prevent relatives from taking his daughter away. The story also depicts Katie as a grown-up, fighting the demons of the childhood.
