Nanga Parbat

The German brothers Reinhold and Günther Messner are almost sick of rock climbing and climbing the world's high mountains. In June 1970, they pack up and go on an expedition to the Himalayas to climb the 8125 meter high mountain Nanga Parbat. They reach their goal, but the triumph is short-lived. One of them returns home and the other is left in the ice.

The film is based on real experiences by Reinhold Messner.
