Bryan (Aaron Paul) and Cassie (Emily Ratajkowski) live in a relationship that breaks down after Cassie has been unfaithful to Bryan. Hoping to repair the relationship, the couple rents a romantic villa in the countryside in beautiful Italy.

They find their way back to the romance, but the mood is quickly disturbed by the handsome neighbor Federico (Riccardo Scamarcio), who arouses insecurity and jealous feelings in Bryan. With the help of his charm, Federico manages to manipulate the couple into a dangerous looking game where no one knows who they can trust.
