Englishman David and Australian Mia meet and fall in love during a holiday trip. Already after a week, David is free, and the couple plans to get married as soon as possible. David travels home to England after his three best friends, who return to Australia to attend the wedding. But the hopeless comrades soon turn out to give the phrase 'ups and downs' a whole new meaning! The chaotic wedding day threatens to turn what was supposed to be the best day of David's life into the very worst.
