The seducer Nikki (Ashton Kutcher) "lies" forward to a privileged life. He arranges parties and charms women in bed while living in the luxurious Hollywood home of the female lawyer Samantha (Anne Heche).

Everything goes well for Nikki, until he meets the beautiful waitress Heather (Margarita Levieva), who, without Nikki knowing it, plays the same game as himself. Nikki and Heather are both people who are sexually aroused by competing with each other when they are out eating at nice restaurants and "crashing" snobbish parties, until the truth about their lives forces them to choose between love and money.
