It is love at first sight when Margot (Michelle Williams) meets Daniel. Their chemistry is intense and immediate. But 28-year-old Margot is happily married to Lou (Seth Rogen) and must try to put a lid on her feelings. However, it becomes more difficult than she thinks when it turns out that Daniel lives across the street from the otherwise close couple.

In the scorching summer, Margot and Daniel enjoy some stolen moments, the distance only intensifying the tension between them. With each passing day it becomes increasingly clear that Margot has to make a choice.
