Et Dukkehjem

25 minutes 2013 7.7

Nora lives a perfect life in her perfect home with her perfect husband, Helmer. They are preparing for tonight's party, where they will have guests. Nora knows she should be happy, but something in her feels completely wrong.

Unpleasant delusions and doubts she can not put her finger on have begun to haunt her. Unable to know herself, she longs for something ... Other. Fortunately, she has her beloved Helmer, to calm her down and talk her to reason.

But things are not as they seem, and outside the four walls of the dollhouse, a disillusioned little girl struggles to make her parents' relationship make sense.

Et Dukkehjem combines storytelling and techniques in a modern paraphrase of Henrik Ibsen's classic story about the middle-class couple Nora and Helmer. A story that, brought into our modern performance society, has never been more relevant.
