Pebbles is about Maren, a young girl trying to fit in with her friends, She fails to connect with them while they are occupied dancing to the sound of their phones. Things become weirder when her socially awkward uncle shows up, until they share a moment of his troubled past. Maren realizes that maybe even a regular pebble can show beauty and be unique, in its own way.
