1943. Germany occupies France and the Jews have to go into hiding. Like many other Jewish children, the parents send Fanny (13) and her little sister on a 'summer camp'. In reality, this is an organized escape where the goal is to cross the border into neutral Switzerland. It will be a dangerous journey with life at stake.

Fanny's Journey is based on Fanny Ben-Ami's book about her own story.
