A mysterious, black-clad shooter, El Topo, rides through the desert with his son. Their goals are not self-evident, and their destiny is not defined. The trip stops when they arrive in a small village, looted by bandits who slaughtered the inhabitants. El Topo decides to take revenge, and even more blood will flow. But this is only the first of a series of brutal incidents on their journey.
El Topo is Jodorowsky's second film, and has influenced filmmakers such as David Lynch, Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper.
