A woman is killed in the Arizona desert, and when a young Mexican fugitive is accused of the murder, it seems to be an easy case for the local police. But when the woman's widower - a former sheriff - comes on the trail of a conspiracy, the case takes an unexpected turn. And suddenly the murder suspect and the murdered man's widower must stand together to get the truth out!
