The year is 2025, and we are in a ravaged Ukraine after a major war against Russia. War veteran Sergiy works at a steelworks and spends his free time keeping his military skills up to date. When the steelworks is closed down, he starts working in the voluntary organization "Black Tulips". Here he gets to know Katya, and against all odds, he begins to believe that there may be a life after the war.
Atlantis shows individuals who in a seemingly hopeless and gloomy world are trying to create order in life. The film is beautiful, filmed in contrast-filled tableaux. And among the ruins there is also tenderness - and glimmers of hope.
