The forward-thinking DJ Cole (Zac Efron), hangs out with his childhood friends during the day and spends the night working on the song that will make the world explode. All this will change when he meets the charismatic older DJ James, who takes him under his wing. Things get complicated when Cole falls for James' much younger boyfriend, Sophie. With an intensifying forbidden love and a raging friendship on his conscience, Cole must choose between love, loyalty and the future he so desperately wants.
