Queen of the Desert
This is the story of Gertrude Bell, a traveler, writer, archaeologist, discoverer, cartographer and political attaché to the British Empire at the turn of the twentieth century.
Gertrude Bell, a curious and adventurous young woman who wants to explore the world outside England, goes to the British Embassy in Tehran where she soon falls in love with the secretary, Henry Cadogan (James Franco). This is the beginning of a lifelong relationship with the people of the Middle East. On her way, she meets the archaeologist T.E. Lawrence (Robert Pattinson), better known as Lawrence of Arabia and Major Charles Doughty-Wylie (Damian Lewis), the British Consul General in the Ottoman Empire.
The film is not playable outside of Norway
