Paul Maguire (Nicolas Cage) has found his way back to the narrow path of law after a past as a criminal. But his past catches up with him when the Russian mafia kidnaps his daughter. Paul is now forced to resume the use of illegal methods to get his daughter back and get revenge. He gathers his old gang and embarks on his quest for his own form of justice.
