William Tell is a gambler and ex-soldier who only wants to play cards. One day he is contacted by Cirk, a vulnerable and angry young man who also has a past in the military. Circus needs Williams' help to avenge a common enemy, a military colonel. To fund it all, the two travel from casino to casino with the unlikely goal of winning the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. But Cirk's uncontrolled mind also draws William back to the darkness of the past.
