A story about loneliness, serendipitous moments and kindness under a relentless rainfall late in the afternoon in the heart of the city, while two souls are trying to find their way home in the rain. "Rain" is a part of TIMESCAPES - a collection of films first shown as an anthology in August 2018 at the Seoul International Animated Film Festival, with six animated films about life, love and the landscapes of Singapore in the past and present. With practically no dialogue, each film is accompanied by a musical score, and aims to show how our living landscapes and surroundings are intertwined with our memories and fantasy. The stories are based on Singapore's past stretching over 80 years.
