Martin is a permanently ironic 40-something man. When he finally proposes to his girlfriend of ten years, it doesn't turn out according to his plan. She laughs in his face, and leaves, which sends Martin on a serious drinking stupor. He wakes up on the floor in a shared flat for young people from a different generation. This day will be the start of something new for Martin.
