Away from Her

Fiona (Julie Christie) and Grant (Gordon Pinsent) have enjoyed a long marriage, but their love is put to the test when Fiona is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. When the situation changes, there is no other option but to let her move into a home, and when Grant visits her a month later, he finds that she has become very close to Aubrey who also lives in the home.

Away from Her is a moving drama about love in old age, which was nominated for two Academy Awards and is based on the short story by Nobel Prize-winning Alice Munro.
