When Dino (Bianca Kronlöf) gets a job in a middle-class home as a babysitter and maid, she experiences a reality very far from her own. In the course of a few summer weeks, life changes radically and she ends up in the center of an unexpected and touching triangular drama.

Underdog is a raw and at the same time sore story about power and longing for another life - and not just for Dino. At the same time, it is a gallows humorous and relentless observation of the changed balance of power between Norway and Sweden - and a reality where many Swedes have become part of the new working class in Norway.
