Peter (Oakes Fegley) is an ordinary boy who goes to 6th grade. He likes to play, to hang out with his friends, and then he loves Air Jordans. But when Grandpa Ed (Robert De Niro), who has recently become a widower, moves into the family home, Peter is forced to give Grandpa his room. Peter does not want to leave the room without a fight and declares war. Through several cunning pranks, he tries to tease the enemy to give up the room, but grandfather does not give up so easily, and soon they are both engrossed in the fight.
The film is directed by Tim Hill (who was behind "Alvin and the Gang" and "Jump") with a battle-ready Robert De Niro in front. The other roles include Uma Thurman, Rob Riggle, Christopher Walken and Jane Seymour.
