Gauguin

96 minutes 2017 6.0

1891. Painter Paul Gauguin is already known in artist circles in Paris, but he is tired of the so-called civilized world and its political, moral and artistic conventions. He leaves his wife and children and embarks on a journey to the other side of the world, to Tahiti, engrossed in a longing for unadulterated purity and ready to sacrifice everything in his quest. Poor and alone, Gauguin travels deep into the Tahitian jungle, where he meets the Maori and Tehura, his muse, who will inspire his most iconic works of art.
