Phil (Adam Devine) is deeply dependent - on his phone. He has no friends, his job is to write pop-cultural "Top 10" lists, and his love life is non-existent. But soon he will change his Facebook status. He has to upgrade his phone, and the new model has an unexpected feature: Jexi (Rose Byrne) - an AI assistant who becomes Phil's digital life guide, secretary and cheerleader. Thanks to her, Phil begins to taste life. But as he gradually becomes less dependent on the phone, Jexi develops digital domination and does everything to keep Phil, even if it destroys his chances of success in the world out there.
