The couple Nate and Susan Brown, in their mid-twenties, both belong to the millennial generation. When Susan suddenly realizes that she is unhappy and wants to divorce, Nate packs her suitcase and sets course for the nearest hotel. At first, the new life feels lonely like a steep and lonely hill. But when newly divorced Katie offers to help Nate organize a glittering "divorce party", Nate begins to get a taste of his new life situation and discovers that a new love may await him when he struggles through adversity.
