Kristen Stewart starres in Peter Sattler's acclaimed debut film. She plays Amy Cole, a young woman who can be recruited into the US military, believing she will be sent to Iraq or Afghanistan. Instead, she is stationed as a guard in the military prison in Guantanamo, with tough conditions for both the prisoners as well as for the few female soldiers working there. She eventually gets a close relationship with Ali, one of the base's prisoners, but their friendship can cause major problems for both of them.
