A special day

105 minutes 1977 8.1

1977 drama by Ettore Scola with the Italian film's biggest stars Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni.

All of Rome's residents are out in the streets to celebrate the summit between Hitler and Mussolini, besides two people who are in a rental house far away from the cheer. A special day is an anti-war film without blood and bombs. Scola manages the art piece to tell a beautiful, unique love story while providing a political analysis of fascism in the individual and in Italy in 1938.

The film is not playable outside of Norway
