Il Bidone captivates the viewer with his story of hope, despair and reconciliation. This is one of Fellini's most translated films, despite the impressive cast. We see, among others, Oscar-winning Broderick Crawford and Walk of Fame star Richard Basehart. The soundtrack was written by Nino Rota, who was later awarded an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Grammy Award for his work on the "Godfather" trilogy.
