Young Roland Cassard wastes his life, he does not know what he wants and is also unemployed. He meets an old acquaintance from his teens and immediately falls in love. But he is not the only one who is interested in her, and Lola also has another with whom she longs to be able to live happily all her days.
Lola was Jacques Demy's debut film, and a past classic from The New French Wave.
