María Nieves and Juan Carlos Copes are the most well-known couple in the history of tango, and they have influenced dance more than anyone else. They danced passionately together, loved and hated each other for almost 50 years, until they suddenly went their separate ways. They left a big hole in the tango environment. Now, towards the end of their lives, they are talking about their story for the first time.
