Brooklyn artist Freddy is very keen on babies. While trying to complete his art installation about babies, he and his girlfriend are trying to have their own child, and their best friend Polly is supposed to be a surrogate mom.

Silvá has become known for making drama comedies with dark twists and ambiguous morals. In 2013, he had no less than two films at Sundance, where "Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus" won awards.
