The year is 1961 and the famous psychologist Stanley Milgram designs his controversial behavior experiments. Through orders, people are allowed to perform potentially fatal electric shocks, under the condition that they will not be held responsible.
Winona Ryder (Black Swan, Star Trek) and Peter Sarsgaard (Black Mass, Green Lantern) play the lead roles in this reality-based and gripping drama.
Peter Sarsgaard was nominated for Best Male Actor by the Gotham Independent Film Award for the role as Stanley Milgram.
